Biotricity, Inc., an innovative medical technology company, has an immediate opening for a Director of Marketing. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Director of Marketing will have overall responsibility for the organization’s marketing activities, including but not limited to product management, commercial strategy, and promotional activities.

We are looking for an individual with direct experience in the medical device space. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset and a can-do attitude, ready to take the reins and execute projects with energy and results. The Director of Marketing must have proven expertise working as a hands-on executor, directly responsible for achieving product commercialization through the entire product life cycle, from early-stage planning to launch, marketing, and life cycle management. We are not looking for individuals who worked with a team to accomplish such initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy for new and existing products – including campaigns, tradeshows, customer meetings, digital marketing, and print marketing
  • Coordinate with Graphic Designers and Creative to ensure campaigns and materials are implemented in a timely manner
  • Lead product launch planning activities to drive product awareness, customer training, and sales tools to enable the sales team to meet their commercial object
  • Work with Sales and Manufacturing to ensure alignment between marketing needs and product forecast
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key customers, KOLs, societies and foundations
  • Represent the Voice of the Customer when defining customer needs and product requirements for existing and future products
  • Must be able to collaborate with Sales and R&Dto ensure product design meets customers’ expectations
  • Set key performance indicator criteria and evaluation mechanisms for product launches to determine success
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team across engineering, sales, finance, regulatory and quality to manage both short-term actions and long-term strategy
  • This position is required to assure compliance of Biotricity operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices, and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site
  • Ability to travel up to 20% nationally
  • Create the product claims matrix and work with clinical partners to design studies to develop new product claims
  • Engage others and work with other departments to promote and participate in ideation around marketing programs

Experience/Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in healthcare marketing with Class II and/or Class III products
  • Bachelor’s degree in business discipline, marketing or related field; Master’s degree is a nice to have
  • Must have direct experience in launching products with complete responsibility over the entire process as opposed to having been working within a team
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain or improve fiscal efficiency
  • Must possess effective decision-making skills and analytical ability
  • Demonstrated success launching medical devices or solving issues that significantly impact the overall success of an organization
  • Superior communication skills and demonstrated negotiation abilities
  • Prior business development, licensing, international regulations, and new product/opportunities experience a plus
  • Ability to create a culture of inclusiveness and accountability

Compensation

  • Compensation commensurate with experience; 120k to 180k based on experience
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
