Biotricity, an innovative and future-oriented medical technology company, is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals for the Office of Product Management to become a part of and help facilitate product vision and strategy for its flagship and upcoming products in the cardiac and remote monitoring space.
Our ideal candidate has experience in medical technologies or related fields with a can-do attitude and self-start mindset who will work with a cross functional team to help determine product feature priorities.
The role will place individuals in a team environment where the team will provide feature priorities, requirements collection, process improvement, to help in research, product concept, design, development, testing, and deployment. Using your background to evaluate solutions while prioritizing user needs, you will help develop user-based priorities and be responsible for working with a team to help execute the product pipeline, from VOC to commercialization.

The Office of Product Management (OPM) drives the product direction, manages the implementation of product development cycles and ensures the success of the product in the market. The OPM is responsible for collaborating with Research and Development to develop product and solution roadmaps for identifying new opportunities for future growth. The team is also be responsible for finding and collaborating with commercialization partners in content marketing and events to drive successful market adoption and growth of services.
Working alongside multiple departments including Engineering, Business Development, and Marketing, you must be able to communicate across teams with precision and assist product strategy with ease; execution is second nature to you. Balancing creativity with analytical decision making, ideal candidates are highly organized and driven by the desire to create exceptional customer experiences that both inspire and improve lives.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience within the medical device industry / healthcare industry or other related/relevant experience
• Bachelor required. Master’s preferred
• Technical proficiency demonstrated through technical degree or equivalent industry certifications
• Experience from previous roles within marketing, product development, product management, technology implementation or other relevant areas
• Experience with defining user needs and product specifications
• Able to own product roadmap, including quarterly planning, sprint planning, product requirement documents, user stories, etc.
• Experience with market research, including conducting interviews, compiling findings, and turning insights into practical next steps
• Technical aptitude, specifically in clinical software and solution development and/or the clinical environment would be ideal.
• Ability to work within a regulated medical device environment
• Ability to take ownership and accountability for projects and processes
• Creative and innovative, with superior strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills -- with ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
• Ability to work cross-functionally with a distributed team across Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Marketing and Business Development
• Proficiency with PC-based office computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
• Excellent communication & presentation skills -- with ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
• Translate customer experience and into clearly defined user needs and product requirements
• Generate buy-in for the portfolio strategy
• Formulates and reviews corporate short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for specific business line
• Define potential new customer experiences
• Evaluate new business opportunities and emerging technologies
