dLinc is looking for a Cloud Systems Developer to integrate and deploy our innovative Web applications for secure collaboration (https://dlinc.io/products/). We’re looking for a JavaScript-savvy developer who’s focused on DevOps and Cloud infrastructure. A successful applicant will implement initiatives ranging from developing automated test suites and pipeline components to designing and configuring web servers and backend systems.

dLinc offers flexible hours, competitive pay, and benefits. This position is a flexible combination of remote and in-person work at our Blacksburg, VA office. We are seeking candidates located within the USA with US Citizenship – dLinc may sponsor you for a US DOD Security Clearance.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and integrate automated test tools; participate in code reviews and testing
  • Design and configure Cloud systems based on Nginx, Node.js, and MongoDB
  • Develop, configure, and integrate packaging tools based on Docker and Kubernetes
  • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot pilot-scale systems in production on AWS/Azure
  • Configure and integrate continuous monitoring tools on AWS/Azure
  • Assist in developing DevOps process and cybersecurity documentation

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering, or related field - OR - equivalent experience
  • Experience with JavaScript/Node.js and common scripting languages (Python, Go, etc.)
  • Industry experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
  • Experience in Linux, Docker, Git/GitHub, and AWS or Azure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; mindset for test-driven development
  • Ability to communicate, manage time, and work remotely

Desired Skills

  • NOSQL Database management - MongoDB or similar
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with blockchain and verifiable credentials
  • Familiarity with US Department of Defense cybersecurity compliance process
