DIGITAL SOFTWARE DEVELOPER SR

Job Summary

The Sr. Digital Software Developer across API, Web & Mobile platforms, will work on projects across the spectrum of digital health. You will take part in the ownership of the product design, implementation, and feature development to build new and exciting experiences around Digital health care. Driving from traditional care models to defining/delivering products within digital health care across web and touch devices. To succeed in this role, you must be a strong programmer and a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working across teams and organizations.

You will be an integral part of a highly cross-functional team working with world class medical professionals, designers, and product owners to help innovate and address challenging problems within the healthcare space.

Essential Functions:

• You will be responsible for developing new features, as well as maintaining existing code, fixing bugs, and contributing to overall system design.
• Develop software architecture and writing code that is robust and maintainable for the future across SaaS/PaaS integrations, web and touch devices.
• Run your projects through instruments and fine-tune performance to deliver the best experience to users.
• Rapidly iterate through concepts and prototypes, while effectively communicating designs and accomplishments to the broader cross-functional team.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with cross-cutting concerns.
• Translate requirements into technical development.
• Deliver end products with a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for the user.
• Perform other developer duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Expert in Swift or Objective-C.
• Experience with iOS development tools (Xcode, Instruments) - focused on how best to integrate.
• Fluent in Python.
• Experience with SaaS & PaaS systems/integrations.
• Knowledge of common web services protocol (HTTPS/JSON/REST).
• Experience with cloud computing (e.g. AWS infrastructure).
• Experience delivering high quality software with an eye for customer experience.
• Technical experience with native iOS development and a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals.
• Strong API design knowledge.
• Familiarity with essential tools (Xcode, lldb, Instruments).
• Broad interest spanning from early prototyping to shipping finished features.
• Experience building a variety of iOS Apps from scratch (agency/dev shop experience would be helpful).
• Experience debugging software issues.
• Familiarity with design tools & agile methodologies.

Preferred:

• Seven plus years of experience in Software Development.
