iOS Application Developer for Fitness Industry

In 2019, Flex created a proof of concept web app and grew rapidly. Our mathematical models four our ideas had been proven! In 2020 we aimed to launch an app using all that we had learned, and we were on pace until 2020 introduced a big obstacle. And yet… COVID-19 is a crisitunity! When the entire industry is pivoting to online workouts, we're taking our time to strengthen our app and our position. As other startups decided to become yet another bumper car, Flex improved our race car and we now are ready to explode onto the scene stronger than before.

And there is so much opportunity for learning and building great things at Flex! Right now, we need an iOS engineer to help us build our V2 features. Here's the deal:

• Co-own the iOS source for the existing app (hosted out of github)
  • All native: Objective-C and UIKit
  • Alamofire networking library utilizing a Flex REST API (REST API is fully documented in high detail)
  • Other libraries involved include: Stripe, AWS Cognito, and AWS Cloud Watch
  • Test Flight to deploy staging app; App Store to deploy production app
• Expect to contribute UX ideas to solve new problems. At times, we'll want to move fast and you'll need to translate a rough whiteboard sketch into how YOU think it would best work. When solving for problems nobody has seen before, collaboration is critical.
• Flex is a distributed team from the start; Ability to work remote and with remote engineers a must
• Equity until we raise additional capital then a negotiated salary/equity combination
• Min 10 hours a week; Full time available
