Overview: AmazeVR believes the future of media is in immersive technologies. We are an end-to-end VR service provider, a content producer, and a VR platform developer that is available on major VR stores. After securing our Series A fundraising in 2019, we’re now expanding our distribution to include an offline channel with immersive content for top music artists. Using Unity that will take users on a surreal ride, the environment changes and reacts to the music through audio visualization techniques, allowing users to experience and feel the music as they ride through an interactive landscape.
We are looking for a Technical Artist with experience in VR and expertise in Unity, lighting, shader, particle systems and visual effects. The ideal candidate has great communication skills to give guidelines and feedback to designers in order to achieve outstanding visual quality with limited real-time performance.
Responsibilities:
- Create technical assets (such as shaders/materials).
- Design particle systems.
- Define and create satisfying audio-visualization effects.
- Help establish visual style and direction.
- Provide the art team with guidelines for art content creation.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with shaders/tech-art, particle system, and visual effects.
- Experienced in integrating and optimizing assets for Unity.
- Have 3-5+ years of experience working in the game industry.
