Overview: AmazeVR believes the future of media is in immersive technologies. We are an end-to-end VR service provider, a content producer, and a VR platform developer that is available on major VR stores. After securing our Series A fundraising in 2019, we’re now expanding our distribution to include an offline channel with immersive content for top music artists. Using Unity that will take users on a surreal ride, the environment changes and reacts to the music through audio visualization techniques, allowing users to experience and feel the music as they ride through an interactive landscape.

We are looking for a Senior Unity Engineer with experience in VR and expertise in Unity, lighting, shader, particle system and visual effects. The ideal candidate has great communication skills to give guidelines and feedback to designers in order to achieve outstanding visual quality with limited real-time performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the Unity scene with regards to lighting and shading
• Create and implement visual effects using shaders, lights, and Unity particle system
• Guide and give feedback to designers to achieve outstanding visual quality
• Analyze application performance and develop optimizations as needed

Requirements:

• Deep familiarity with Unity components
• Strong experience with shaders/tech-art, particle system, and visual effects
• Understanding of 3D Math
• Expert level of C# proficiency
• 5+ years of professional experience using Unity
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree
