Test Analyst

Currently we seek to add to our Quality Assurance team. This team is driven to learn and challenge themselves daily. We seek to add a Test Analyst 2 to the team. As a Globalscape Test Analyst 2, you will take ownership of complex and technically detailed testing. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing the traceability between requirements and test procedures.

In addition, you will;

• Analyze application specification and design documents to determine test scenarios and craft test procedures
• Develop and maintain requirement traceability between requirements and test procedures
• Efficiently and thoroughly document all findings, work with development to resolve defects and retest
• Identify areas of risk to ensure appropriate testing is completed
• Provide QA perspective and review during specification and design phases in the product life cycle

To be successful you should have;

• At least 4 years of Formal Testing background as a part of a QA department including manual QA experience
• Thorough understanding of testing methodology and ability to develop and test products derived from requirements
• Familiarity with Windows networking and system administration
• Experience with test and requirement management software
• Experience in testing Windows, Linux, Mac OX, and Web based applications
• Experience with scripted languages (PowerShell, VBS, C#, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a high-performance team
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and common networking protocols
