Senior Software Engineer (Full-Time)

Team: Engineering

Location: Cambridge, MA

About us: At Proton, we're developing cutting-edge machine learning for multi-million dollar distributors. By predicting what customers will buy, we're improving sales and efficiency, and driving growth. We're looking for a senior software engineer to join our technical team to keep up with rapid customer demand.

About the job: Our backend is largely written with Python, so some experience with that or another dynamic programming language are essential. Good time management, communication and organizational skills are a plus. Stellar work ethic, and a team oriented mentality are necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility and ownership of project timelines and deliverables
  • Work with customers to inform product development
  • Work alongside highly talented and motivated engineers
  • Develop new features for server-side code
  • Build tooling for internal team use
  • Ingest and process highly complex big data from customers
