The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC), America’s first superhighway, is seeking an individual to join our Information Technology team as the Business Systems Supervisor! Our mission is to operate a safe, reliable, customer-valued toll road system that supports national mobility and commerce. The PTC operates a 552-mile system used by 194 million vehicles a year. The Business Systems Supervisor reviews, supports and redesigns business systems, business processes and the configuration of enterprise systems to meet the needs of the business and end users. Responsibilities

• Supervises, plans and organizes the assigned unit’s operations and staff functions including performance management, delegation of work assignments and review of work product.

• Supervises, leads and participates in project teams for system work efforts related to enterprise systems. Determines how to best support the needs of the end user.

• Ensures the appropriate technical support is provided to end users regarding their specific systems, solutions and processes. Troubleshoots, analyzes and resolves escalated issues or concerns.

• Monitors business systems and business processes to identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement.

• Supervises, plans, leads and participates in the configuration and maintenance of enterprise systems to support end users and business processes. Identifies and corrects configuration issues to restore the solution and ensure proper operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or information systems

• Six (6) years of system configuration experience in an enterprise business system

o Three (3) of the years of experience must be in a leadership and/or project management capacity.

 One (1) year in a senior level business process position will be considered equivalent.

Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.

Location

The position is located at the PTC’s headquarters in Middletown, PA, right outside of Pennsylvania’s capital city. The Central PA region has plenty to offer from picturesque scenery to premier entertainment, while residents enjoy an affordable cost of living. It is conveniently located within a few hours’ drive of popular metropolitan areas such as Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C. and New York City.

There is a Pennsylvania residency requirement, which must be fulfilled within six months of employment.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for the Business Systems Supervisor is $71,872-$107,807. The selected candidate will be offered an exceptional benefits package which includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage, along with a benefit plan for retirement. Coverage is fully paid by the PTC for employee, spouse and/or eligible dependents.
