Job Description:

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Director of Administrative Systems will lead the Administrative Systems team which is responsible for the ongoing coordination and operation of the Ellucian Colleague School Information System. The Director will be ensure efficient, secure and optimal coordination of all related administrative systems. In addition, the Director will work closely with other technical teams and all other academic and administrative teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Administrative Systems team that supports the college administrative system.
  • Work closely with Network Operations and other team members to recommend, design and deliver the best solutions for the College with a focus on reliability and scalability in a 24x365 environment.
  • Collaborate with various departments and vendors to optimize system use.
  • Manage and recommend integration of other systems with goal of optimal user experience for both staff and students.
  • Provide recommendation and strategic planning as systems evolve.
  • Support Business Process Redesign-automation of manual processes in functional offices to support business operations.
  • Manage security and access to the administrative applications and integrated products.
  • Coordinate training activities for IT staff to support the modules of Colleague and other integrated applications and broader college audience.
  • Monitor and report on systems status, problem resolutions, department budgets, and tasks associated with the IT Master Plan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree ideally in technology or business administration
  • At least three years of technical level experience on Ellucian Colleague and a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting academic administrative systems
  • Three to four years with management experience or 1 to 2 years as a Sr. Manager or Director in a technical environment supporting an ERP system
  • Proven ability to facilitate, collaborate, communicate and maintain high-quality service levels for all stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse student, faculty and staff populations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Programming or understanding of programming concepts.
  • Support experience in a Microsoft networking environment.

Additional Information:

Salary Range: $100,000.00-110,000.00
