The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC), America’s first superhighway, is seeking an individual to join our Information Technology team as a Quality Assurance Analyst! Our mission is to operate a safe, reliable, customer-valued toll road system that supports national mobility and commerce. The PTC operates a 552-mile system used by 194 million vehicles a year. The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for providing technical support work in the quality assurance functions to support technology solutions for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) including requirements management, compliance and audit support, test management, system standards, maintenance and enforcement. Responsibilities
• Coordinates and implements technology solution testing and quality assurance measures and activities.
• Works with various IT and business teams to document testing requirements. Maintains a matrix of business requirements, business process procedures and associated test scripts to ensure requirements are met.
• Produces reports demonstrating compliance with requirements and escalates non-compliant issues to appropriate authority for resolution.
• Participates in or oversees testing the technology solutions and ensures test problems uncovered during a test stream are resolved or brought to the attention of a higher-level authority prior to placement of changes into the production environment.
• Develops and administers the IT quality assurance program.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management or Information Systems
• Four (4) years of experience in an IT business operations area or other information technology function.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.
Location
The position is located at the PTC’s headquarters in Middletown, PA, right outside of Pennsylvania’s capital city. The Central PA region has plenty to offer from picturesque scenery to premier entertainment, while residents enjoy an affordable cost of living. It is conveniently located within a few hours’ drive of popular metropolitan areas such as Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C. and New York City.
There is a Pennsylvania residency requirement, which must be fulfilled within six months of employment.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for the Quality Assurance Analyst is $56,007-$84,010. The selected candidate will be offered an exceptional benefits package which includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage, along with a benefit plan for retirement. Coverage is fully paid by the PTC for employee, spouse and/or eligible dependents. In addition, leave programs, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program, and alternative work schedules are available to employees.
