  • System Administrator work
    • Work with Director of Technology to support and maintain both client and internal systems, including patches, upgrades and customizations
  • Support Escalation
    • Resolve escalated client technical issues from support teams, following Cartwheel best practices
    • Ensure that root causes and permanent solutions are documented and communicated to Client Success team and Director of Support
    • Serve as a resource for support teams for technical guidance
    • Work with Director of Support and Client Success team to further escalate cases
    • Follow all Cartwheel procedures for case escalations, documentation, and time tracking
  • Project work
    • Work with Project Team to assist or complete technical aspects of projects
    • Serve at resource for project team for technical guidance
    • Review technical project work as needed
  • Technical Standards
    • Work with Director of Technology to review technical work for support teams to ensure best practices
    • Work with Director of Technology and support teams to review stuck/difficult cases
    • Work with Director of Technology to trial new software for account team and client use cases

Requirements:

  • Minimum B.S. or B.A. from a 4 year accredited university, preferably in computer science or similar
  • At least 4 years working in a senior support and/or system administrator role
  • Very strong design, implementation & support skills in:
  • Networking (Meraki and SonicWall firewalls, managed switches VLAN, VPNs, etc.)
  • Server solutions (Windows, VMWare/ Hyper-V, SANs)
  • Cloud & Hybrid solutions (Azure AD, SSO, ADFS, Integrations)
  • Fleet management (RMM tools, PSA, scripting, Windows Autopilot)
  • Backup solutions (Datto, Altaro, Azure, etc.)
  • Security solutions (MDM, DLP, Compliance, Azure Advanced Threat Protection)
  • Excellent problem solving ability, logical, fast, and sharp
  • MSP experience a big+
  • Expertise in MSP tools a big+
