The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC), America’s first superhighway, is seeking an individual to join our Information Technology team as the Enterprise Development Supervisor! Our mission is to operate a safe, reliable, customer-valued toll road system that supports national mobility and commerce. The PTC operates a 552-mile system used by 194 million vehicles a year. The Enterprise Development Supervisor manages development and integration strategy activities to facilitate data flow in and out of enterprise systems. Responsibilities
• Supervises, plans and organizes the enterprise development unit’s operations and staff functions including performance management, delegation of work assignments and review of work product.
• Provides oversight and/or participates in project teams regarding system work efforts related to enterprise systems. Provides guidance and determines how to best support the needs of the end user and ensures the development of technical solutions based on best enterprise system design practices.
• Responsible for the design, analysis, integration and deployment of enterprise applications, configurations and solutions. Ensures that detailed specifications of enterprise development and integration processes/procedures are properly documented and maintained.
• Reviews level of effort estimates and proposed change requests. Reviews and analyzes proposed system changes and change requests to determine other potential impacts. Reviews enterprise systems and development objects to ensure overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or closely related field
• Seven (7) years of experience developing and/or integrating enterprise custom objects or enterprise solutions in at least one of the areas/environments listed below, or combination thereof:
o SAP Environment (i.e. ABAP, SAP/PI, SAP workflow, forms development, etc.)
o ServiceNow
o Microsoft Dynamics
o Web Development
o .net Development
o Integration Development
• Four (4) of the years of experience must be in a leadership and/or project management capacity.
o Two (2) years in a senior level enterprise development position will be considered equivalent.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.
Location
The position is located at the PTC’s headquarters in Middletown, PA, right outside of Pennsylvania’s capital city. The Central PA region has plenty to offer from picturesque scenery to premier entertainment, while residents enjoy an affordable cost of living. It is conveniently located within a few hours’ drive of popular metropolitan areas such as Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C. and New York City.
There is a Pennsylvania residency requirement, which must be fulfilled within six months of employment.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for the Enterprise Development Supervisor is $79,740-$119,611. The selected candidate will be offered an exceptional benefits package which includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage, along with a defined benefit plan for retirement. Coverage is fully paid by the PTC for employee, spouse and/or eligible dependents. In addition, leave programs, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program, and alternative work schedules are available to employees.
