About the role…

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled financial professional to join our growing Finance team and directly manage all FP&A activities. This role will serve as the Finance Business Partner to all areas of the Company. The individual will be responsible for managing the budgeting and forecasting process, costing and providing analytical support to enable each department to deliver on Corporate must-wins. 

The ideal candidate has a solid background in the FP&A function and thrives in a purpose driven, collaborative environment of rapid growth and changing demands. Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing is desirable.            

As a Financial Analyst, you will...

  • Manage the annual budget and forecasting process as well as long-range financial planning
  • Build and manage financial and analytical reporting models
  • Serve as a FP&A Business Partner for all areas of the Company, especially Product, Commercial 
  • Partner with department budget owners to provide operational analysis, reporting and improve forecasting accuracy
  • Help with creation of Board of Directors and other Executive presentations
  • Create financial and operational dashboards
  • Aid in collecting and analyzing relevant financial data for investor requests
  • Analyze cash flows and expenditures
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to enable departments to take business decisions 
  • Assist in evaluating software solutions / integrations and head implementation processes
  • Other duties as assigned

You bring… 

  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
  • 10+ years of combined relevant experience.  Includes exposure to multiple business groups and business lifecycles, preferrably in a product-based or manufacturing environment
  • High motivation and desire to be hands-on; able to execute independently (without a dedicated team) in the near term
  • Strong planning and analytical skills, including superior financial modeling, Excel, and financial database systems skills/knowledge (SAP, Adaptive Planning, Hyperion Planning, or similar tools)
  • Desire to drive process improvement to support scale and efficiency, and to build data based understanding of business drivers
  • Prior experience designing, implementing, and optimizing financial systems
  • Strong attention to detail; sense of owning the numbers with a commitment to accuracy 
  • Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills (verbal and written); ability comfortably and effectively interface with all levels of management
  • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to deliver on goals while managing shifting priorities and multiple assignment
  • A positive and entrepreneurial attitude  
  • Ability to challenge the status quo to spark improved strategies, methods, and practices in a fast-paced startup environment
