Systems Administrator

Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in-house equipment. This includes local and remote servers, computing equipment, and all networking devices installed at corporate offices, stores, and co-locations.

• Setup, installation and configuration of computer networks and systems (wired and wireless networks, firewall, domain, local and cloud server solutions, FTP, VPN)

• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired

• Initial setup, maintenance, and support of corporate user accounts and hardware.

• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses

• Create, maintain, update and implement detailed documentation and maintain standard operating procedures

• Consult with internal clients on new technology needs to specify system requirements, design and implement appropriate solutions

• Test / Recommend new devices to improve productivity.

• Recalibrate hardware for reuse.

• Active Directory Administration and Configuration.

• Basic Java scripting for processes automatization.

• Technical Skills

• Can read and interpret technical documents at a high level

• Familiarity with cloud computing services. (From the Amazon Web Services Catalog - DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, S3, Route53)

• The ability to navigate and maintain various operating systems Windows Server (2012 & 2016), Linux Server (Ubuntu), Windows, macOS 

• The ability to navigate and maintain security appliances (SonicWall & Fortigate)
