Job Description:

As a SmartDraw Consultant, you will work as part of a team helping customers succeed using SmartDraw's product suite (SmartDraw and VisualScript Studio) in the Atlassian ecosystem. Your goal will be to generate value for their organizations, integrate systems, automate processes, and achieve efficiencies.

You will provide expert guidance, design solutions, and work hands-on with product setup, migrations, upgrades and performance tuning.

You’ll lead customer workshops to determine technical requirements, discuss options and explain trade-offs and constraints to both technical and business line executives. As a SmartDraw Consultant, you will also play an important role in pre-sales - offering solutions, providing estimates, and producing proposals.

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Pre-sales involvement to design appropriate solutions for our customers
• On-site and remote liaison with clients
• Development of next-generation use-case and user-driven product development road-maps

You will be able to work remotely from home, but we are looking for someone who is available to travel to our clients' offices. International travel, although not probable, is possible as well.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential

• Experience in technical consultancy - being able to work with a range of different software products to meet a customer’s needs
• Experience with the Atlassian toolset, in particular, Jira and Confluence
• Scripting/programming skills using languages such as JavaScript, Java, Groovy, ScriptRunner or similar
• Strong understanding of and experience with Agile and SAFe methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Comfortable working collaboratively both face to face and through online tools such as webex, Hipchat, Skype, Zoom, etc.
• Personable, helpful, and professional attitude

DESIRABLE

• Experience within a fast-paced, fast-growth tech start-up environment
• Atlassian Technical Sales Certified
• Experience in system administration, user support or similar fields (e.g., Jira/Confluence/ServiceDesk certifications for Administrator and or Project Management)
• Comfortable working with system integrators and end-client developers
