Senior Manager, Learning & Development

Brivo is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Learning & Development to join our Bethesda, MD, team. As the Senior Manager of Learning & Development (L&D), you will be responsible for building Brivo's high performing L&D team. You will oversee the design, development, and execution of L&D programs with cross-functional collaboration from internal and external stakeholders, content owners and developers, and external vendors. You will work closely with leaders across Brivo to assess development needs and develop solutions to drive our business forward.

We're looking for someone with a track record of developing and leading training efforts with direct experience in program facilitation and instructional design. You must be adaptable to work with shifting priorities, and able to navigate and optimize learning solutions within a complex organizational structure — with a great deal of enthusiasm.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of experiential learning and development courses and programs for a technical workforce
• Partner with key stakeholders to understand, develop, and deliver training for all levels and locations (geographies)
• Drive the design of each of those internal learning programs, including project management, budgeting, and communications
• Create a learning and development strategy, vision and action plan to implement diverse learning systems that contribute to the overall success of the company
• Develop the infrastructure for all training and development programs by establishing and standardized methods and procedures for delivery, evaluation, measurement, and reporting
• Develop scalable training solutions, leveraging multiple channels and tools in support of a broad array of learners
• Project manage learning and development initiatives including coordination of logistics, managing materials and providing a critical eye to ensure content is stage ready
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of learning and development programs
• Assist with the development of the long-term learning strategy and roadmap of internal Brivo training
• Provide expertise in management development, team effectiveness, and leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
• 8+ years of experience with performing, designing, developing, and implementing instructor-led and eLearning products
• 4+ years of managing large scale programs focused on learning and development, human capital or people programs, with excellent organizational and project management skills
• Experience in building scaling learning and development programs in Software-as-a-Service business model
• Experience presenting to and interacting with senior leaders in a consultative manner
• Experience creating engaging and interactive learning curriculums by applying industry-standard methodologies
• Experience creating course needs assessment, course design documents, implementation strategies, and program evaluations.
• A high degree of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and the ability to translate complex concepts/data into graphically appealing and easy to understand presentations.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and engage employees in training
