Upper90 is an investment firm that provides non-dilutive capital to disruptive companies that can show predictable future growth. We typically start with a $2-10m credit facility that can scale to $25-50m+ for Seed to Series B stage technology enabled companies. Our Founding Partners bring operational expertise from online marketplaces and quantitative trading and have assembled a leading LP base of entrepreneurs across technology, real estate and finance to help scale businesses and quickly underwrite opportunities in founder-friendly structures.

Ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in consulting or operations, graduated from a top university and demonstrated interest in working at a startup.

Position Summary

Upper90 is hiring an Investment Operations Associate to help screen and organize new opportunities (60%), develop relationships with other investments firms and target companies (20%) and research core themes (20%). Upper90 sees over 100 deals per quarter and this is a critical hire to improve the investment process, summarize deals for parters to review and establish the firm’s brand with key players in the fintech and venture capital community. This is a unique opportunity to join at Upper90 a the ground floor with direct exposure to emerging technology companies and industry leaders in a flat organization.

Candidate should be an enthusiastic self-starter who has experience working with clients and senior management to summarize opportunities. S/he should have strong analytical, oral and written communication skills and be a team player who enjoys being involved in all aspects of the business. The candidate will also be encouraged to proactively source investment opportunities through networking and outreach.
