Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and design documents to produce PADS PCB designs.
  • Using PADS design software to create component libraries and perform PCB layout, and generate associated manufacturing files (drill, drawing drawings, Gerber files and other documents).
  • Utilize 2D drafting skills with AutoCAD or DraftSight to develop PWB assembly drawings for fabrication and assembly.
  • Develop PCB layouts that are EMC compliant, satisfy thermal constraints,  and with controlled impedance.
  • Ability to utilize Aerospace best practice for fabrication, assembly and testability in assembly documentation.

Requirements:

  • Basic Education: A.A
  • Experience : minimum 5 years Aerospace experience

  • NASA or Aerospace experience following industry fabrication standards and instructions.

  • Experience with aerospace PWB design and a basic understanding of IPC 6012, IPC 2221.

  • 2D drafting skills with AutoCAD or DraftSight utilized for assembly drawings
