We are a growing team based in Prague (Czech Republic), developing world leading military simulations for major NATO powers and their allies. We are constantly looking for ways to advance the whole industry, using the latest technologies and trends (such as whole world simulation, motion tracking and virtual reality).

What Is VBS3: Versatile Desktop Training & Simulation Software.

Job Description:

  • Working out of our office in Prague, Czech Republic
  • Work within an agile team that uses a scrum based product design process
  • Cooperation with other development departments
  • Working with cutting edge gaming and simulation technologies
  • Designing and implementing new features using Angular 7, as well as plain HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases (REST, WebSockets, JavaScript, C++ backend)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience 2+ years professional experience in front end development
  • A good understanding of standard web technologies - HTML5, CSS and JavaScript (incl. TypeScript)
  • A good understanding of Angular 2+ framework with a minimum of 1 year professional experience
  • Interest to improve in both technical and soft skills
  • Debugging skills: Ability to use either browser provided developer tools or framework specific development tools
  • Experience with version control software - e.g. Git
  • English at communicative level

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with other JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, Vue.js)
  • At least one of C++, C#, Java/J2EE or similar programming language(s)
  • A scripting language (e.g. C#, Python, Lua, etc.)
  • REST Web Services (using any server language), WebSockets, Swagger toolset
  • UI/UX design
  • Build tools (e.g. Angular CLI, Gradle)
  • Testing tools (e.g. Karma, Selenium, Protractor, SikuliX)
  • Degree in Computer Science or design related field
  • Link to an online portfolio of work
