NVIDIA Deep Learning for Robotics Workshop
AI is revolutionizing the acceleration and development of robotics across a broad range of industries. Explore how to create robotics solutions on a Jetson for embedded applications. In-person workshops teach you how to implement and deploy an end-to-end project through hands-on training in eight hours led by DLI instructor. You’ll learn how to:
Apply computer vision models to perform detection
Prune and optimize the model for embedded application
Train a robot to actuate the correct output based on the visual input
Earn a NVIDIA Certification upon completion of code-based assessment.
Prerequisites To Enroll
Basic familiarity with deep neural networks, Basic coding experience in Python or a similar language. Frameworks used: ROS, DIGITS, Jetson
How to prepare
All attendees must bring their own laptop and charger. We recommend using a current version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari for an optimal experience. Create an account at http://courses.nvidia.com/join before you arrive.
Instructor Bio
Dana Sheahen, Curriculum Developer, Deep Learning Institute, NVIDIA
Dana Sheahen is a Curriculum Developer at NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Institute focused on applications in autonomous systems. Dana's background includes embedded systems software development as well as curriculum and content development for courses in artificial intelligence and robotics. She holds an MSCS from Georgia Tech and a BSEE from Rice University.

Registering for this workshop does not grant access to TC Sessions: Robotics+AI on April 18. Tickets to TC Sessions: Robotics+AI are sold separately. Lunch is not included in the workshop ticket.
