Perpay, a fast-growing, self-funded startup in Philadelphia, is looking for a Full Stack Engineer (Ecommerce) to join our team. We’re a FinTech company focused on bringing healthier credit options to consumers and have been recognized by PACT as Philadelphia's Technology Startup of 2018. We combine lending and payments into an e-commerce platform that challenges the typical channels of credit. We strive to solve a complex problem – the lack of affordable and accessible credit – as efficiently as possible, because we believe that everyone should have the ability to build a healthy financial life. Located in a loft-style office in the heart of Midtown Village, Philadelphia, Perpay is a space for creative and collaborative problem-solving.

We’re looking for engineers who are passionate about our mission and driven to simplify complex workflows to join our supply chain team. Our supply chain team’s main focus is to ensure that we are creating the best experience possible for our customers, from the moment they visit our site until their products reach their door. As part of the team, you will work on the full range of analyze data, solve tough problems, and quickly deliver solutions at one of the fastest growing companies in the FinTech space!

Responsibilities:

  • Automating order fulfillment and tracking for our customers
  • Designing and implementing merchandising tools to curate and personalize products on our e-commerce platform
  • Building and maintaining infrastructure that supports millions of inventory, order, and tracking records
  • Supporting our data-engineering team to contribute to data infrastructure, drive business intelligence, and improve our platform and customer experience
  • Working with vendors to integrate our products into our supply chain platform
  • Collaborating and maintaining expectations across all stakeholders

What We Look For:

  • Knowledge of Python, AWS, Docker, and SQL
  • Exposure to Apache Kafka, Redis, Celery, RabbitMQ, Redshift, DynamoDB, Lambda, Magento, Django, or a willingness to learn quickly
  • Prior work on extracting, transforming, and loading data
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Strong focus on writing and deploying clear, readable, testable code
