BioDigital is revolutionizing the way people understand their health and the human body. The BioDigital Human is a comprehensive digital 3D human body accessible through the Web and mobile apps - think Google Earth meets the human body. Winner of the 2015 Webby for Health, the platform is being used by pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers and publishers to translate complex medical concepts into educational tools that allow users to learn about anatomy, disease, and treatments in a manner that resembles life itself.

BioDigital is looking for a Solutions Architect to design and implement creative, technical solutions to client business challenges using BioDigital’s technology. As a key contributor to the Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams, the Solutions Architect is responsible for understanding and articulating how BioDigital’s technology solves prospective clients’ key challenges, architecting solutions that align with BioDigital’s core technology, getting buy-in from and educating client technical stakeholders on any integration work required, and working closely with clients to integrate these solutions quickly and effectively. We’re looking for someone with a solid technical background who is passionate about both client development and technical problem solving.


Responsibilities 

  • Become an expert on every aspect of the BioDigital Human platform and the technologies with which we integrate
  • Gather the technical and business requirements of prospective clients, creatively architect BioDigital solutions that meet those requirements, and effectively communicate solutions to clients to help the sales team close new business quickly and hit sales targets
  • Get buy-in from and educate technical stakeholders at the client on all integration work required
  • Support new customers to launch their BioDigital integrations creatively, effectively, and quickly
  • Act as the technical point of contact for client throughout the pre-sales and implementation process; troubleshoot, escalate, track, and solve client implementation issues
  • Document lessons learned, viable solutions to problems, work-arounds, feature requests, defects, and other knowledge and share it cross-functionally within BioDigital
  • Work closely with the BioDigital product team to help shape the product roadmap based on client feedback
  • Travel to on-site customer meetings as needed
  • Help define the pre-sales and post-sales solutions architect roles and assist with building the team as BioDigital grows

Qualifications

  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to rapidly pick up a client's vocabulary and quickly understand their goals
  • Demonstrated ability to ask key questions to scope projects, qualify/disqualify opportunities, and gather detailed product requirements, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to audiences with varying technical backgrounds
  • Team player, ready and willing to support colleagues and clients in removing any roadblocks they are experiencing
  • Highly motivated, energetic, self-starter
  • Detail oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience
