Job Responsibilities

As a Web Developer with CompuSystems, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites and online applications per client specifications. You will follow a defined work process with strict quality control and testing procedures.

Additional responsibilities of this role include:

• Follow defined show process for all the websites you manage

• Follow defined testing rules and standards

• Participate in meetings with clients and team members to gather, analyze and document show requirements, and explore potential solutions in accordance with CompuSystems’ existing processes and best practices

• Meet all scheduled deadlines

• Notify supervisor of situations that may affect CompuSystems’ ability to provide superior service to clients by adhering to defined escalation process, and if an event experiences excessive problems

• Communicate potential missed deadlines to supervisor and team members in a timely manner

• Request support from your supervisor, when necessary

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices

Job Requirements

As a Web Developer with CompuSystems, you must possess an analytical approach to problem solving coupled with customer service skills and a keen attention to detail. In order to succeed in this position, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess a feeling of ownership for your work.

Additional requirements of this role include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the field

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, jQuery,  and Bootstrap

• Knowledge of Java, JSP, PHP and related technologies as well as SQL, and Relational Database experience

• Advanced analytical, programming and debugging skills

• Experience working in both a predictive and agile development environment

• Ability to apply available technologies to overcome obstacles and effectively execute the needs of our clients

• Teamwork skills are a must while receiving requests and feedback from from individuals with different roles and organizational levels

• Ability to meet various key performance evaluation measures, including client satisfaction, meeting deadlines and quality control goals, and effective communication

Preferred

Experience in REACT, Angular, and similar JS frameworks

Experience with Git or similar repository.
