We’re looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to support our sales organization. You’ll work directly with sales managers to quote and pitch customers, while working with our product and software/hardware teams to ensure we are delivering the best possible solution to our customers.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application
- Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical audiences
- Provide design and specification development support to consultants, integrators, and distributors
- Listen, understand, and communicate customer needs to ensure quotes match customer requirements
- Serve as a partner to our sales team by visiting prospective and strategic customer sites; demonstrate the technology and provide technical assistance as needed
- Reduce the length of the sales cycle by providing clarity and responsiveness to customer questions and concerns
- Successfully align customer pain points and requirements with T1V solutions; work with product management team to scope solutions requirements as needed
- Effectively communicate market needs to product management and R&D teams for future product development
- Understand the competitive landscape by visiting customers and attending industry trade shows; communicate this information to internal teams
Here’s what you’ll be like:
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex solutions in an easy-to-understand manner
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in AV conferencing and AV collaboration tools
- A solid understanding of network communications technology (i.e., Internet, Intranet, VPN, TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc…)
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong listening and observation skills
- Comfortable interfacing with existing and potential customers
- BA/BS in Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent successful experience in a similar AV industry role.
- Passionate about the interactive space and T1V products
- Willingness to travel up to 50 percent

- Have proven work experience in sales engineering, customer service or sales support
- Have a proven track record of supporting sales teams
You will work directly with our EVP of Sales & Marketing and your success at T1V will be measured by displaying the above qualities, fulfilling key responsibilities to the satisfaction of our customers and your colleagues, and pushing yourself (and the technology department) to gain further expertise in developing the greatest collaboration software on the planet. (Seriously.)
Salary will be commensurate with experience. As an added perk, bonuses and stock options are awarded based on performance.
