PURPOSE
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for day-to-day network maintenance and ensuring security and efficiency of the IT infrastructure as well as additional administrative duties.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Provide day-to-day support of desktop computers, servers, printers and software.
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
- Troubleshoot network issues and outages.
- Install and test computer-related equipment.
- Respond, process and action IT tickets submitted to the IT helpdesk.
- Work in conjunction with our IT team to complete IT projects and tasks as necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a solid understanding of Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Server 2013, Linux Server, and TCP/IP networks.
- General knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
- Must be a strong and effective communicator.
- Must have Office 2013+-Windows Network Administration experience including Active Directory.
- TCP/IP Network administration knowledge including DNS, DHCP, WiFi, and VLANs, switch and firewall configuration.
- WSUS, Help desk, DMS, and ERP experience a plus.
- Sharepoint, Virtualization, ABAS, Exchange, SAN Management, and IP-PBX knowledge preferred.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- A+ Certification and/or MCSE Certification preferred.
