Does the idea of driving acquisitions through digital campaigns excite you? Are you comfortable with running campaigns through Organic Search, PPC, Affiliate Marketing and Paid Media? If you are a seasoned marketing professional in driving demand and growth via multiple online platforms then this role is for you. We will rely on you to spearhead all our digital marketing strategies and manage cutting-edge campaigns to ensure we run the best campaigns.

THE ROLE
The role reports to the VP of Marketing and entails the strategy and management of our Lead Generation channels. Your main priorities will be to ensure implementation and management of our SEO, PPC and Affiliate Programme whilst providing a comprehensive overview of ALU’s new acquisition channels. You will be required to deliver detailed and regular campaign reporting on all acquisition activity to stakeholders on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
More specifically your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in forming effective lead generation and new user acquisition strategies
- Supporting the onboarding of new Acquisition tools and processes, including implementation and daily management.
- Overseeing and optimising advertising accounts and campaigns on Search, Affiliate and Social Media
- Conducting keyword research to guide content teams and implement successful SEO, PPC and publisher campaigns
- Optimizing website content and landing pages for organic rankings
- Reviewing on-site technical SEO issues, recommending and implementing fixes
- Tracking organic search and paid media KPIs to manage campaign and channel performance
- Create a dashboard and weekly reporting for performance of the campaigns based in our CRM (Salesforce) or Analytics platform (Google Analytics)
- Acquiring and managing new publisher and affiliate relations
- Maintaining partnerships with freelancers, PPC, bid-management, social ad platforms and affiliate vendors
- Execute A/B testing to optimize performance of paid acquisition campaigns
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3+ years of experience, or equivalent expertise in SEO, PPC & Display, Paid Social
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to build and generate reports from marketing platforms to support marketing and sales needs
- Experience in running paid media campaigns on social media platforms
- Ability to manage campaigns through Salesforce systems (Marketing Cloud, Social Studio )
- Process-driven but yet flexible and creative, with the ability to drive campaigns independently based on briefs
- Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong passion to succeed, contagious energy and desire to have fun in the process
- Previous experience working at an agency or as a consultant is preferred
- Experience working in an agile company environment where employees are expected to lead from the front with integrity
- Ability to perform under pressure and cope with tight deadlines
TECHNOLOGY PROFICIENCY
MUST-HAVES
- High Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Search Console and Keyword tools
- Strong understanding of digital technologies such as HTML, Javascript languages, Cookies, Pixels
- Proficiency in a minimum of 1 of the following SEM tools: SEMrush, Majestic, MOZ, Optimizely, Serpstat
- Intermediate understanding of Google Analytics, Adobe Suite and Excel
LOCATION: You will be based in the beautiful Indian ocean island of Mauritius, with periodic opportunities to travel across Africa and globally.
