Senior Systems Analyst - Mainframe, IT Systems Analyst

Install, customize, maintain and support operating system, transaction processing, and database software on an IBM mainframe.

Provide Hardware support for IBM mainframe and peripherals, including HMC, HCD, and IODF customization and maintenance. 
Develop and maintain custom management utilities written
in REXX.
Provide technical support, problem determination and resolution for z/OS operating system, CICS transaction processing, Datacom database and other ISV software products.
Plan and implement disaster recovery procedures and testing.
Assist with security controls and audit compliance procedures.
Perform ongoing performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning.  

Minimum qualifications 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field.

EXPERIENCE

10+ years supporting operating systems and utilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong working knowledge of systems administration and security tools.

Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Must be detailed oriented and able to work in a fault-intolerant environment with excellent time-management, scheduling and organizational skills. Must be able to interface with different levels of management.

Physical demands: On call 24×7×365. Occasional lifting and transporting of computer hardware; availability to work weekends and holidays when necessary.

Salary range: $90,308 – $112,885 and will be based upon experience and qualifications
