IT Support Analyst

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC), America’s first superhighway, is seeking three (3) individuals to join our Information Technology team as IT Support Analysts!  These positions are a great entry-level opportunity for recent information technology college graduates.  The IT Support Analysts work with higher-level professionals in a challenging environment throughout the Information Technology Department, while gaining a well-rounded understanding of methods and innovative technologies used in the transportation industry.  Together, we are building the highway of the future!  

Responsibilities

• Provides support to IT professional staff in the following areas: Technology and Innovation Management, Geoanalytics, Enterprise Business Solutions, Technology Infrastructure and Security.

• Assists in the development of requirements and solutions analysis.

• Participates in testing and validation.

• Assists in the development and operations of geoanalytic enhancements and projects. Assists in the development and operations of enterprise business solution enhancements and projects.

• Assists in the deployment and operations of server and storage management, networking, communications and field devices.

• Monitors security systems and assists in the response to security threats/ incidents.  Responds to end user incident and requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in information systems, computer science, information technology or related field.

  College students with expected graduation dates in December 2018 and May 2019 are encouraged to apply.

Location

The position is located at the PTC’s headquarters in Middletown, PA, right outside of Pennsylvania’s capital city.  The Central PA region has plenty to offer from picturesque scenery to premier entertainment, while residents enjoy an affordable cost of living.  It is conveniently located within a few hours’ drive of popular metropolitan areas such as Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C. and New York City. 

Benefits and Compensation

The selected candidate will be offered an exceptional benefits package which includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage, along with a defined benefit plan for retirement.  Coverage is fully paid by the PTC for employee, spouse and/or eligible dependents.  In addition, leave programs, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program, and alternative work schedules are available to employees.  The annual salary range for an IT Support Analyst is $48,424.00 - $72,636.  Our goal is for our IT Support Analysts to establish the groundwork needed to grow within our organization and allow for potential promotional opportunities.
