This consulting role will have client facing responsibilities that encompass security analyst, engineering, and operations skill sets. Responsibilities include securing Ventera’s on-premise client project delivery and corporate infrastructure as well as ensuring the security of Ventera’s client systems. At various times, the successful candidate will perform security analyst tasks such as analysis of security control assessment findings and development and maintenance of security program documentation, system security plans, etc. as well as performing technical engineering and operations tasks such as security control configuration and implementation, security systems operation, incident response, etc.
Per government contract, all candidates must have been living within the continental US for at least 3 consecutive years, during the past 5 years.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of IT security experience including work with the following:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Cloud Computing Services
- Linux (RedHat, CentOS, and/or Ubuntu)
- DevSecOps and Agile methodologies
- JIRA
- Jenkins
- BurpSuite or equivalent DAST tool
- Fortify or equivalent SAST tool
- Security Unit Testing
- Network and Systems Administration
- NIST SP800-37Rev.1 Risk Management Framework
- Development and maintenance of security program documentation (security policies, procedures, standards, etc.)
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing
- Analysis of security assessment findings, control implementations, and resultant security documentation updates (Plan of Action and Milestones, System Security Plans, etc.)
- Excellent Technical Writing skills
- Experience working directly with clients
- Ability to work autonomously and consistently deliver within deadlines
- Experience with creating and maintaining detailed documentation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent multitasking skills
