A Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our Information Systems team with a full stack development background and e-commerce experience. You will working as a part of a high performance team designing and developing new product features for existing and new e-commerce plus other applications. The Work

• Work with the business liaison(s) to understand business requirements
• Architect/Design the solution for implementing the new features/applications
• Socialize the solution approach
• Design and develop the software
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Collaborate with other team members through code reviews and occasional pair programming
• Guide technical decision making and contributing towards improving our engineering process
• Work with the Director of Software Engineering, Product Management and other business leaders to inform product road mapping
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology
• 5+ years of Ruby-On-Rails development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript and popular frameworks like AngularJS
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS
• Experience with Postgres Database and SQL
• Experience working with AWS Cloud services
• Experience with project management tools like Jira
• Great written and oral communication skills
• Problem solver with a motivation for quality software craftsmanship
• Ability to work with and actively participate with a small, highly motivated, high-speed team
