Software Engineer

eTags is looking for Software Engineers ready to enhance their existing skills by working with talented innovators on the cutting-edge of mobile and web development. You will be collaborating with business operations and marketing teams to ensure consumer-facing and internal-facing applications are robust, flawless and effective.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience contributing to web and/or software development for mobile-first web applications
• Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of software engineering concepts and development
• Experience creating and editing back-end website and web applications
• Ability to work with designers to implement front-end designs
• Experience with LAMP stacks
• Experience meeting with management, director and/or executive level to review specific initiatives you are developing, or involved with while assisting in a project

Skills

• MySQL or SQL experience is required 
• PHP frameworks (e.g. CodeIgniter, Laravel, Symfony, PHP Cake, etc.)
• API integrations/maintenance/development: SOAP, XML, RPC, JSON and REST
• JavaScript and JQuery libraries
• (Bonus Skills) You can write in C, C+, Python
