Schedule:This is a full-time position, and core hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This position may require some weekend work.
JOB SUMMARY: Software Engineer III is responsible developing software modules to import from various data sources (PMS - Property Management, POS - Point of Sale, Labor and Sales systems etc.) and to improve the usability of the data import services. The incumbent establishes, develops and maintains positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Integrating data from various back-end services and databases into ProfitSage system.
Design upgrades to existing data collection processes to improve performance and stability.
Use C#, SQL, HTML/CSS and JavaScript to implement/enhance software modules
Perform trouble-shooting and maintenance of existing issues.
- Enhance the usability of the data import services from an intractable User interface (It is called the Import Monitor services). A user can trigger any internal data services action simply by going to the Monitor and clicking on an action with this service in place.
- Bachelors degree and 4-7 years related service experience or a commensurate combination of education and experience.
- Must have at least three years C#. Net experience and SQL experience, HTML, CSS(with SCSS), Javascript(ES5 and ES6), jQuery, Basic VueJS knowledge
- The position requires good, basic, clerical and administrative skills with emphasis on verbal and written communication skills (in English), good common sense; positive attitude; willingness to take initiative; and ability to maintain confidentiality.
