POSITION: BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST

DUTIES:

Develop and Construct interfaces between legacy systems to data warehouse through Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Informatica.  Define overall data warehouse interfaces with ETL/ELT design and develop/manage those interfaces from source to staging and to data warehouse table structures.

• Conduct source data analysis to identify problems, confirm data standards, and capture early warnings to project and scope
• Work with other team members in designing, development, deployment and performance tuning of repositories and end user solutions. Work on assigned I/S (Information System) projects e.g. implementations, upgrades, architecting new dashboards and reports.
• Expertise in ODI 11g/12c dimensional modeling and design.
• Full life cycle experience (requirements gathering through production deployment) in all aspects of BI/DW (ETL, data modeling, analytics and reporting)
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL development experience, including performance tuning of complex queries.
• Knowledge in Multidimensional modeling (Essbase preferred)

• Design and develop ETL and data integration jobs.
• Preferred experience involving Oracle BI as reporting tool
• Experience working with Data Warehouse architecture and designing star schema, snow flake Schema, FACT and dimensional tables in physical and logical data modeling
• Work with business representatives and other I/S personnel in business process discussions and provide options and best practices.
• Work with business representatives and other I/S personnel in the development of business requirements, develop associated technical requirements and design documentation for approval.
• Assist in the development of test plans and perform all unit testing required to ensure programs, interfaces, and systems meets business and technical requirements.
• Assist support personnel and business representatives in the development of training documentation and system documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field.

4 years progressive experience in ODI and Informatica with data warehouse design and development, including experience with traditional data warehouse analysis / ETL development / business intelligence / information delivery development.

Minimum Tools/technologies/skills : ODI 11g/12c; Informatica; DAC(Data Warehouse Application Console); PL/SQL and data modeling;

Additional skills: OBIEE 11g/12c (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g/12c); OBIA ; RPD design; Multidimensional modeling
