All Turtles is a technology company with teams developing practical AI products to solve everyday problems. Our first office opened in June 2017 in San Francisco, and we’ve got teams working across the globe. We’re ambitious, and have opened offices in Paris and Tokyo in 2018. Our staff numbers just over 30, with over 100 people affiliated with our product teams. Our current products include Spot, Edwin, Disco, Leaders, Octane AI, Replika, and Sunflower Labs.

We’re seeking a contract Social Media Coordinator to help lead our pioneering coverage of AI, product development, and new models for innovation. We are active on a number of social media channels and have a weekly newsletter, and are looking to increase our online presence.

As Social Media Coordinator, you’ll split your time between managing our social media channels and writing our weekly newsletter. You’ll also help gather and analyze metrics to help better serve our audience. You’ll work closely with the editor-in-chief and editorial/content strategist.

The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for:

Social media

  • Support articles, podcasts, videos, newsletters and more across channels

  • Create, share, and curate daily and weekly posts across our platforms: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Reddit

  • Promote posts with paid ads for video and podcast episodes, and work with marketing to deliver ROI analysis and other metrics of success

Newsletter

  • Curate articles about entrepreneurship and AI for weekly newsletter

  • Write commentary for newsletter content and format in Mailchimp

  • Develop and manage newsletter-related promotions

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Two or more years of professional social media marketing

  • Strong writing and analytical skills

  • Hands-on experience with organic and paid distribution on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram

  • Working knowledge of Mailchimp, Buffer, Google Analytics, Medium, and other editorial and social tools

  • Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, startups, and frontier technologies

  • Basic video editing, audio production, and design skills a plus

The Social Media Coordinator is a contract position of approximately 25 hours per week reporting to the Editor in Chief. This role is based in our San Francisco office, at 1266 Harrison Street in SOMA.
