Senior Web Developer

DCI is seeking a full-time web developer to work on an exciting customer focused project with effort placed on user experience, scalability, and technology efficiency. In this project, you will be building a new authentication system, a shopping cart, and product fulfillment for mobile devices. You will be asked to exercise creative freedom to produce the best possible design with help from a supportive team. As a successful developer on this project you should be able to accomplish these tasks to the end and see your work go to market. After the project’s completion, you will continue to create (not maintain) more amazing customer centered products all the way to market.

The developer in this role must be well versed in developing ASP.NET MVC web applications that function well and look great. We are looking for someone that can hit the ground running and tackle a problem without much training in this skill. Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience writing Web Applications (Salary will depend on level of experience)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• Self-driven, results oriented developer who strives to write clean, extendable and well commented code
• Drives their software through the ‘final 10%’ to take a product to market
• Able to exercise creative freedom to make a great design
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET MVC and the .NET Framework
• Ability to utilize JavaScript to make the user experience better for the user
• Ability to create awesome looking websites with CSS
• Willingness to work on a team and can work in a fluid, highly collaborative environment
• Must demonstrate a passion for writing software and building stuff
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.js or Node.js to make a better a user experience
• Experience making websites look good across multiple platforms with Bootstrap or similar frameworks
• Ability to utilize an object-relational mapping framework such as Entity Framework to communicate with a database
