Lead Data Analyst

Unbound is hiring a Lead Data Analyst to support Unbound in 10x revenue over the next 18 months.

To be the brand that puts sexual wellness products in the hands of 75% of American women by 2025. Our strategy is to offer women witty, engaging content; quality products at an affordable price, and valuable subscription offerings.

GOOOOOOOOOALS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unbound’s Data Analytics Team will have four goals over the next 18 months:
1. 10x topline revenue
2. 50% of customers shop again
3. 50% of sales are from the Unbound branded products
4. 60% of customers new to the category
This is a highly entrepreneurial role working alongside Unbound’s founders. She will act as a knowledge manager in the company and a highly trusted and credible resource whose technical ability is matched only by his or her judgment and communications skills. She will apply exploratory data analysis to solve high­-visibility problems that take into account our business needs, our technical capabilities, and the economics of our industry. She will be maniacally focused on each step of the consumer journey funnel (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue) and actively looking for opportunities to improve brand awareness as well as the customer experience. Measure the effectiveness of each marketing initiative and campaign, identify trends, and isolate opportunities for improvement and contribute to content strategy through a data lens: always thinking about how X content will produce Y result.
TL;DR (I mean, you should probably be reading this whole thing, it’s the job description) BUT YOU LIVE SLEEP EAT BREATHE DATA! As you succeed, you will be expected to help build Unbound’s Data Analytics team, potentially in a leadership capacity.

DREAM DATE:
The ideal candidate for this role is a consultant or mid­-career Data Analyst with entrepreneurial drive, extremely (you are as much a marketer as you are a data analyst) strong analytical skills, and passion for Unbound’s mission. You must have at least 4 years of marketing experience. She would also have the following qualifications:
● Have a undergraduate degree in Statistics, Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
● Be curious, resourceful, and have a killer instinct for solving problems
● Have a strong understanding of statistics, algorithm design, machine learning, and computer programming
(Python, SQL, R etc.) and experience with at least three of the following software packages: Excel, R, SPSS, Mode, Tableau, Heap, Google Analytics
● Are passionate about developing data-­informed hypotheses and experimenting with new approaches to targeting and messaging customers. You are relentless in searching for the best options for customer acquisition, retention, and growth.
