About The Role

Eyeview is dealing with an enormous scale of over half a million requests per second and storing more than 2TB of data every single day. Scale and Architecture challenges are a day to day effort on our engineering team. The Architecture and Scale team is handling engineering-wide efforts that include our real time bidding systems, our data pipeline and our infrastructure. We strive to improve our capacity limits as well as our efficiency.

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team and take a key part in optimizing our AWS cloud infrastructure. In this role you will be exposed to the entire Eyeview Architecture, analyze usage, cost, patterns and best practices. You will implement application & infrastructure changes that will affect the bottom line of the technology cost, and will drive Eyeview for better use of AWS cloud.

Through this role, you will get to work with a LOT of different technologies: EC2, S3, Kinesis, Redshift, Spark, Aerospike, DynamoDB, RDS, Solr and others while having creative freedom on implementation decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop reporting, monitoring & alerting tools for AWS cloud usage & cost
• Develop cloud infrastructure improvements
• Work in collaboration of multiple engineering teams
• Work directly with VP of Architecture to implement technology wide optimizations

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience with AWS
• 2-4 years experience developing in one (or more) of the following languages: Java, Python
• Eager to learn new technologies and new concepts
• Advantage: Experience with Ad Tech
