Manager of Software Development

Hello, Manager of Software Development!

Freeosk Inc. is searching for a full-time, Chicago-based Manager of Software Development who is responsible for all phases of software development at Freeosk.

In this role, you manage all software development efforts and team processes. The Manager of Software Development oversees a high performing team that is focused on timely delivery of software projects. This position is a player/coach. Time is spent defining, developing and enforcing software development best practices while also attracting and retaining high quality talent.

Your skills and superpowers include:
-15 years’ experience as a coder
-4 years’ experience as a manager
-Experience with TDD, Ruby on Rails, LAMP stack, JAVA and Mobile development
-Experience with Agile development methodologies

-Bachelor’s degree is required
