Test Engineer @ Way2B1

Way2B1 is building a private and secure way to manage vital information that powers individuals personal lives. Our mission is to unify the disparate information that families depend on and give back control of key decisions to the family and their support, securely and with privacy. By connecting to information from its source, Way2B1 reduces the opportunity for error and delivers information in real time. The platform currently includes domain focused applications that take the pain out of travel, financial controls, housekeeping and maintenance. Augmenting the technology platform is Way2B1's privacy conscious network, Grapevine, which introduces families to the world's elite service providers and philanthropic efforts and allows sharing of wisdom, artwork, and even use of vacation properties amongst family offices with strong relationships.

The role:

We have the incredible opportunity to provide families with transformative technology to make sense of their complex lives and as our first Automated Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of the team that ensures that the quality of our products exceed expectations of our users. We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to help us test and expand the Way2B1 platform as we scale our team and product offerings. Our Test Engineer position will work with our entire development team to ensure that our new and existing features are as seamless as possible for our users.

Our ideal candidate has:

• At least 2 years of Test experience
• Exposure to automated and manual testing environments, with exposure to 1 or more of the following: Selenium, Mocha, or Jest
• Some programming/coding experience. We’d be particularly excited about Javascript or Python
• Experience writing effective tools to test complex, large-scale, distributed systems
• A passion for working in small, dynamic, and fast-paced teams
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in San Francisco, CA
• Stellar written and verbal communication
• An innately driven and self-motivated nature

Bonus points for:

• Experience testing large scale distributed systems with high data integrity requirements
• Prior experience working with Jenkins or Bamboo
• Any type of AWS exposure
• Experience with any type of container technology
