The Role:

This Product Manager will be responsible for our internal Back Office Accounting platform. This encompases our Property Management services and does not include Corporate Accounting. Daily activities include aggregating internal customer feedback, influencing and defining product vision, creating requirements and working with engineering to deliver an effective product. For this role, a deep understanding of ERP systems and Accounting is a requirement. To successfully execute, the Product Manager must be able to work across teams, be an excellent communicator and work with internal customers to understand the industry in depth. At Mynd a Product Manager is the Product Owner. You will be empowered to make high level decisions and work in a very visible leadership role.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • In depth understanding of Accounting and Financial Reporting
    • Previously an Accountant is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in delivering Product from customer input
  • Technical background in working with Engineering and creating development stories
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Utilize remote/freelance resources
  • Experience working with customers directly
  • Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor’s degree

You will:

  • Define and adjust product strategy/vision
  • Work directly with customers to identify new features and enhance existing functionality
  • Work with UX/UI designers to develop interactive flows for customer feedback and engineering requirements
  • Ability to learn new skills and industries quickly
  • Have experience with FinTech and Accounting
  • Have experience with ERP systems
  • Translate business/customer feedback into engineering requirements
  • Be familiar with agile sprint planning and priority setting
  • Test new development to validate requirement delivery and changes to end users
  • Contribute to and update roadmap prioritization
  • Be able to work with and influence cross-functional teams
  • Be a leader and push the vision of the product within the company
