Description

The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for creating business solutions to improve the overall efficiency, productivity and management of our business by developing Tableau dashboards to create visibility into data and performance trends. They will work closely with key business stakeholders to discuss organizational needs and gather dashboard requirements.

Requirements

• Builds and publishes interactive dashboards on Tableau Server.
• Schedules Dashboard for automatic data refresh.
• Creates action filters, parameters and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.
• Collaborates with Engineering to test, clean, and standardize data.
• Provides interdepartmental training for BI users.
• Mentors other BI specialists in Tableau and data source management.
• Must be well organized, detail oriented and demonstrates flexibility to handle multiple assignments.
• Must be comfortable working directly with business users, as well as Engineering team members.
• May be required to work after hours or on weekends as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of the following:
• Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, reporting authoring and troubleshooting, data source management).
• SQL (able to write and edit queries).
• Knowledge of the following is not required but preferred:
• Relational Database expertise (working with views, stored procedures, tables, and database administration tasks).
• Tableau Server (system administration, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management.
• Experience with Amazon Redshift, Neo4j, Hadoop, MongoDB, or other non-traditional database technologies.
