Senior Application Architect - PHP

You will determine the best approach for solving some key problems around messaging and analytics. A broad knowledge of available technologies from MongoDB to Docker will assist in finding a solution that will perform at scale. You will use PHP to efficiently move data and communicate with the front-end application, as well as power the backend processes that analyze and act on data.

To be successful you will need:

• 5-6+ years PHP experience including Laravel
• 2-3+ years working with Javascript
• Git for version control
• Has experience working in high volume environment
• Has the desire and ability to solve complex problems
• Is able to self-manage, but can collaborate effectively
• Doesn’t feel comfortable committing code without tests
• Commands an in-depth knowledge of PHP, proficient in Laravel
• Knows their way around JavaScript (backbone.js a plus)
• Good working knowledge of MongoDB, and how PHP interacts with Mongo
• Familiar with a git workflow for version control
• Could knock out a small service with Lumen and deploy it with Docker pretty effortlessly

Additional Experience

• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience scaling AWS
