The Role:
We’re looking for a test engineer to join our hardware team. We’re developing new technology to this space, so you will be critical in developing and executing test plans to ensure the mechanical and electrical reliability of our product. This role works extremely closely with our engineering and operations teams to validate designs and drive decisions across design, manufacturing, and supply chain.
What you’ll own:
- Developing test methodologies and reliability specifications
- Designing test fixtures, set up and execute experiments
- Driving failure analysis of failed units
- Keeping detailed records of test results and provide results and recommendations to the rest of the engineering and operations teams
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- 2+ years experience in a test engineering role
- Demonstrable troubleshooting and failure analysis experience
- Understanding of statistical methods used in the reliability space
- Dedication and drive to produce world-class hardware
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely with cross-functional teams
- BS in STEM, ideally ME/EE or equivalent experience
Bonus points for:
- Consumer hardware or consumer appliance experience
- Experience at a small start-up
- Past experience working across hardware and software
