About Role:

We are looking for a motivated and competent Data Migration Consultant to join our Technical Consulting team. In charge of specifying, developing and running data migrations, you will work closely with our Project Managers and Implementation Consultants during the implementation phase of our ERP Software-as-a-Service solution for our clients in North-America.

Responsibilities:

The following represents a list of essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as required.

Responsible for large data migration projects

  • Define the scope and rules of the Data Migration together with our customers, combining business process and system understanding
  • Data analysis and extraction (SQL)
  • Develop, adapt and test the internal Data Migration tool to the specific project needs (Java)
  • Perform the data migration runs on go-live date
  • Report detailed progress, risks and issues to the Project Manager

Improvement of our Data Migration framework together with your overseas colleagues

  • Specify and develop enhancements to the existing Data Migration tool
  • Improve performance and add new features

Besides Data Migration, you will also participate to the other activities of the Technical Consulting team

  • Produce custom reports and data analysis to our customers (SQL, Qlik)
  • Perform customization of the customizable parts of the system (Templates, Web layout) according to the client’s requirements
  • Provide consultancy on on Exerp Integrations APIs (JSON, SOAP…)

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be willing and able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.

  • Bachelor/Masters in Computer Science or Engineering or superior relevant work experience
  • 2-5 years of applicable experience
  • Experience with Object Oriented programming, preferably in Java
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally through all levels of organizations both internally and externally
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi task and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of technical solutions, business processes and have an analytic, pragmatic and methodic approach in problem solving
  • Ability to travel up to 25% annually both in North-America and occasionally to our headquarters in Copenhagen
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Knowledge of HTML, SOAP web services
  • Experience with Linux shell commands
