The Role:

We’re setting up our supply chain to produce high quality consumer IoT products at high volume using top-tier contract manufacturers. You will own the supply chain management from products in concept through final production, with extensive autonomy and control over how you execute.

What you’ll own/do:

  • Source strategic suppliers and supply chain partners
  • Spec out project costs, negotiate with suppliers, and create estimates
  • Take complete ownership of the project by managing the budget, keeping all parts and parties moving, and ensuring that suppliers are hitting deadlines
  • Ensure that our hardware programs run smoothly

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Experience with global supplier development, product development, and management
  • Past success with reading and negotiating contracts
  • Strong cost management skills
  • Dedication and drive to produce world-class hardware
  • Proven track record of meeting challenging organizational objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate across cross-functional teams, including up to the executive level
  • Driven project schedules and managed resources
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely to the executive team
  • Ability and desire to travel internationally
  • MSME, BSME / IE / EE, or equivalent

Bonus points for:

  • MBA
  • Consumer hardware experience
  • Experience at a small start-up
  • Conversational knowledge of the different functional groups (mechanical, electrical) that go into making hardware
  • Past experience working across hardware and software
