Consolidated Court Automation Programs (CCAP) seeks qualified candidates for a full-time Business Process Analyst position. This unique position offers a wide range of duties, including: gathering and documenting user requirements, creating and executing test plans, providing direct end-user phone support for custom and off-the-shelf software, implementing software at customer locations, and providing remote and in-person application training. Analysts may specialize in one or more job functions based on abilities, interest, and organizational need. LOCATION: Madison, WI with some statewide overnight travel required.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The selected candidates will:

  • Perform software business analysis functions.Define user requirements, perform analysis and design, assist with development and review of system requirements, coordinate usability testing and create and execute test plans.
  • Provide application support for custom and off-the-shelf software applications for all court system users via Help Desk or as a SME.
  • Coordinate and lead the implementation of new software, hardware and system upgrades throughout the court system.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal and court system staff and the public in the use of CCAP-provided software applications.

QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Selected candidates will have current and relevant experience in several of the following: (1) Training and/or experience providing software training and support, including excellent analytical skills. (2) Training and/or experience providing support and training for software applications and peripheral hardware such as scanners and digital audio recording systems. (3) Training and/or experience in business analysis, usability, and software design. (4) Training and/or experience in quality assurance methodologies. (5) Courses and/or experience in business or public administration. (6) Strong analytical skills. (7) Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. (8) Excellent customer service skills. (9) Ability to lift heavy objects, bend and occasionally work in hot and/or dirty environments. (10) Valid Wisconsin driver’s license. Preferred: (11) Thorough knowledge of computer systems. (12) Strong understanding of the business functions and the IT needs of the court system. (13) Experience providing support for Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and GroupWise email. (14) Experience training users in common application software programs. (15) Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. (16) Experience with SQL databases.
