Job Overview:

This role is responsible for driving traffic to IBISWorld’s website and leads to the sales department by planning and executing B2B digital content marketing campaigns using content developed in-house. Nurture those leads using marketing automation and CRM platforms until they’re ready to be passed on to the sales department.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be required to collaborate with the marketing, web development, sales, client services and management teams to develop, execute and measure effective campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and manage digital marketing campaigns

• Creatively use multiple platforms, including social media, email and online advertising to effectively communicate with target audiences and generate leads

• Collaborate with our sales and client services teams and work closely with Marketing Copywriter and web team to ensure relevant and targeted communications reach our core audiences

• Grow and nurture leads through multiple marketing campaigns to the point where leads are ready to be handed to our sales team to be managed

• Use marketing automation and CRM platforms to efficiently run campaigns and track results

• Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements as needed

• Proactively conduct research to stay on top of trends and developments in digital marketing to identify and leverage the most effective ways to market IBISWorld

• Use knowledge of various communication platforms and SEO strategies to pitch creative campaign strategies to management team

• Establish internal best practices in digital marketing so that successful projects are easily repeatable in the future

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Effectiveness of campaigns in generating leads to the business; ability to report on results and track ROI

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Innovation in bringing ideas to the table for campaigns and approaches to assignments

Targets / Expectations:

• All projects delivered in full on time with minimal guidance

• Increase traffic to website by X% each year

• Increase number of leads and business inquiries by X%

• Positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and contributors

Key Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or relevant field preferred

• 2-4 years of experience in developing digital marketing campaigns for a B2B enterprise

• Proven experience working with multiple social media platforms and social selling/content marketing strategies

• Solid understanding and execution of SEO tactics and strategies

• Applicable experience working with a marketing automation platform, such as Marketo or Pardot

• Familiarity with Salesforce and Ringlead preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

• Strong work ethic

• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize various responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines

• Flexibility to effectively deal with unexpected assignments and changes to workload based on management priorities or client requests

• Works well with others, but also self-motivating and autonomous
