AWS Cloud Engineer @ Qadium

The role:

Qadium's technology platform collects data from the world's connected devices, turns that data into knowledge and organizes it to help our customers understand and secure their networks. As a DevOps Engineer at Qadium, you will be an integral part of the team that deploys, manages and operates that platform. Your expertise will help us transform the way large organizations manage and secure their networks.

About you:

• You have set up and managed continuous integration and continuous deployment tools
• You love to automate your work
• You take pride in your work and understand how it contributes to the “big picture”
• You've been part of a DevOps team running hundreds of systems and have the logistical and organizational skills to grow that to thousands of systems
• You understand that customers don't tolerate down time and you do what it takes to ensure stable production systems
• You are willing to work in San Francisco, CA
• This job is completely onsite

Our ideal candidate has:

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts
• Used Ansible or another configuration management tool
• Experience with cloud service management (e.g., Google Compute Engine or Amazon Web Services)
• Ability to program in Python, Bash, or another scripting language
• Knowledge of Linux system administration
• Done web application deployment
• Experience with Cloudera Hadoop (CDH), Apache Storm, Apache Kafka, or related technologies
• Worked with container technology- bonus points for Docker
• An interest in cybersecurity
